1 · The work
What already exists.
The mgf-* federation is 55 registered
projects across 7 groupings, built to one shared engineering
standard, with the long-term systems work under the endorsed sooth family.

2 · Why it matters
Foundations are where trust is cheapest to build and dearest to retrofit.
Provenance, determinism and observability are properties a system either has from the beginning or spends the rest of its life asserting. Magogi builds the foundation as a coherent whole, to one engineering bar, so a claim about the software can be checked instead of believed. That work is slow, unglamorous and long-lived — exactly the kind of work that needs a steward rather than a quarter.
3 · Governance
Who would hold the money, and under what rules.
Magogi Foundation is a Washington nonprofit corporation. The incorporation date and unified business identifier are on the certificate. The Foundation holds the legal and fiscal responsibilities; it does not decide the engineering. Administrative overhead is kept minimal, and restricted donations are tracked separately. Sponsorship never buys editorial control.
What the Foundation will not do: No private benefit, no lobbying as a purpose, no political campaigns, no equity stakes, and no pay-to-play.

4 · What support enables
Where support would go.
Every line below is a commitment made by this page. No amounts appear, because none are being solicited.

5 · The ask
How to help today.
No public donation drive is running today; the support that is open is contribution, sponsorship and partnership.

Contribute
The most useful support today is work: code, documentation, review, tests and standards feedback across the federation. Participation needs no money and no legal entity.
How to take part → -
Sponsor or fund
Companies, grantmakers and sponsors can fund maintainer time, community operations, or a named project. Recognition follows the trademark policy.
